Frequently asked questions
Gypsum is a natural mineral plaster. Our pieces are hand-cast, solid and stable on a shelf or table, but they are not unbreakable, so treat them the way you would a ceramic piece.
Use a glass or plastic insert. Gypsum is porous, so standing water will mark the surface over time. Dry stems need no insert at all.
Pre-made gypsum pieces, acrylic paints, brushes, a palette, instructions and a creative challenge card. A protective sheet can be added at checkout.
Most kits work from around age three with an adult nearby. Date Night and Mandala are designed with adults in mind.
Five to seven days from the moment we confirm your details, because each letter or shape is cast and finished for your order specifically.
Yes. Many pieces are available raw with a paint set. Ask us if you want a specific piece prepared that way.

Send a quote request with your date, guest count and location. We plan the corner, bring everything, set it up, and your guests take home what they paint.
Ask us before ordering. Gypsum is fragile and heavy, so international shipping is quoted per order rather than at a flat rate.
Yes. The kits use water-based, non-toxic acrylics that wash off skin easily and out of most fabrics.
Shipping
Every piece is hand-cast and finished to order, so making time comes before transit time. We wrap each order in protective packaging and dispatch from the atelier.

- Event orders
- Setup dates are arranged directly with you after your quote is confirmed.

Returns
If a piece isn't right, write to us within 14 days of delivery and we'll arrange a return or replacement. Pieces should be unused and in their original packaging.
- Damaged in transit
- Send us a photo and we'll remake and reship at no cost.
- Personalized pieces
- Made specifically for you, so they can't be returned unless there's a fault or an error on our side.
- Painted kits
- Unopened kits can be returned within 14 days. Once painting has started, the piece is yours.
- Refund timing
- Processed within 5 business days of the return arriving back at the atelier.
Caring for gypsum
- Keep it dry Gypsum is porous. Vases hold dry stems beautifully, but use a glass insert for fresh flowers.
- Wipe, don't wash A soft dry cloth is all it needs. Skip water, soap and cleaning sprays.
- Let paint cure After painting, give your piece 24 hours before handling or sealing it.
- Expect character Small variations in tone and surface are part of hand-casting, not faults.
